Volunteers Age 55+ Needed!
RSVP of Rock County is looking for dedicated older adults to support fellow older adults in need of transportation, food resources, engagement, socialization and connection! Support seniors, provide access to basic needs, & build meaningful bonds!
Eligible Volunteers receive the following benefits:
- mileage reimbursement
- volunteer insurance coverage
- meal reimbursement when volunteering 4+ hours/day
- professional development & training
Volunteers provide the following support to fellow older adults:
- Transportation to medical/health related appointments, grocery stores, banks, & other essential destinations
- Food pantry delivery to homebound seniors
- Friendly in-person & phone call visits to isolated seniors
- Minor home maintenance/repairs, such as changing light bulbs, smoke alarms, etc.
